Recently, we’ve received a lot of questions and complaints from our visitors regarding their smartphones and live wallpapers support. In the meantime, we’ve done our own research and now we are providing you with the list of supporting and non-supporting smartphones. Here’s the list of “complicated” models too. This article is the resource for all the people who don’t know if their smartphones support live wallpapers or not. We will try to keep it up-to-date.
The first condition to run live wallpapers is to have a smartphone based on Android platform, version 2.1 (Eclair) or above. Even that doesn’t mean you will be able to run live wallpapers. Here is the list of smartphones currently supporting live wallpapers:
Notice: Even if you find your device on this list, it does NOT mean that it will support every single wallpaper! Live wallpapers, like any other Android apps, can have hardware, version, country or any other limitations.

Some smartphones don’t support live wallpapers though they are based on Android 2.1 or above. Here is the list of these smartphones. This list doesn’t contain models based on an older version of Android. If your model doesn’t support live wallpapers, you’ll not be able to find any of them on the market. Also, if your smartphone isn’t on this list and should be, please leave us a comment and we will add it in our next update.

After extensive research, we realized that the question of live wallpaper support is not that easy at all. For android smartphones listed below, we can’t say for sure if they support live wallpapers or not, do you need to upgrade Android version or to root your phone first.
